Building a Strong Foundation for Optimal Health

Chiropractic care seeks to build health from the inside out. That means we don’t just treat symptoms; we find the underlying cause so that you can find long lasting relief. As part of your care, we will establish a strong foundation of health, similar to the way you build a house one step at a time. In both cases, if you don’t lay a strong foundation, the walls would eventually all come tumbling down. Likewise, you wouldn’t put a roof on before putting walls up. Your body’s health follows a similar pattern. Your structured treatment plan will follow a three-phase approach to chiropractic care.

Your First Visit

Patient Forms

When you step into Navarre Chiropractic Center, we’ll be ready to greet you as part of the family. We’ll then direct you to the New Patient Portal where the new patient forms we need are located. This paperwork will help us get to know your medical history and goals for care.

Consultation

After your forms are all done, you’ll move on to a visit with Dr. Llaird Likens. You’ll go over your health history as well as any current problems, pain points and symptoms. The goal for this initial visit is for Dr. Likens to learn about you, your health and your goals for care. Once Dr. Likens has a full picture about you and your reasons for seeking treatment, he will explain some potential treatment options.

Examination

After your chat, Dr. Llaird LIkens will conduct a comprehensive chiropractic examination that tests posture, reflexes, flexibility, range of motion and more. He will apply standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests as well. Dr. Likens will explain what he is doing as he goes to help you feel comfortable and informed.

X-Ray Studies

Dr. Likens may also take X-rays, depending on your condition and examination. X-rays give more details and help Dr. Likens to develop an effective treatment plan with as much information as possible. X-rays also alert him to any serious spinal conditions. In addition, Dr. Likens can use X-rays to explain why you’re feeling the way you do. Since so many of us are visual learners, this can be very helpful for patients as they can start to see their misalignments and degeneration themselves.

Report of Findings

After the consultation, examination and possible X-rays, Dr. Llaird Likens will be able to explain what is causing your symptoms, pain and other conditions. He will develop and explain your custom chiropractic care treatment plan that includes how exactly he can help, how often your treatments need to be and any cost you may incur. Dr. Likens will also give you recommendations to other providers should it be necessary.

Treatment

Now comes the fun part! At the end of your appointment, you can choose to receive your first treatment and finally feel relief! Depending on your condition, this may include a variety of treatments including spinal adjustments, therapy, stretches and trigger point release. Your comfort is a top concern for Dr. Llaird Likens, so you can feel free to express any concerns during treatment and Dr. Likens can adjust accordingly.

Wellness Program

Before you leave, you will receive a wellness program to begin using in between treatments. This wellness program may include home stretches or exercise, the use of ice or heat application and advice on activities or positions to avoid. It will also include lifestyle and nutrition advice that can help you feel better. The goal of your unique wellness plan will be for you to increase your overall health and achieve good spinal alignment..

Flexible Payment Options

Chiropractic care is essential to your overall wellness, so Dr. Llaird Likens ensures his pricing structure is affordable and attainable for all budgets. The Navarre Chiropractic Center participates in most insurance programs and accepts auto accident and worker’s compensation cases. But even if you have little or no chiropractic care insurance coverage, we have affordable self-pay options and flexible payment programs available. In addition, we accept most health insurance plans including Medicare. Many of our patients have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage. That’s why we offer affordable self-pay options which include flexible payment programs.
